facts about weather apps? thunderstorms and showers are the most hardest to forecast so do not take it seriously if you see thunderstorms and showers on weather apps as example, it could show thunderstorms at 1pm till 4pm but nothing happens at that time, just moderate showers, then later around 10pm it could show light rain showers but then it could be thunderstorms so number one rule is not to look for thunderstorms on weather apps , instead use, high res models such as, ICON, ARPEGE, ECMWFHRES, AROME, HIRLAM, HARMONIE! and remember thunderstorms and showers are generally hard to forecast, so take it with a pinch of salt!
